- Take a lot of time off school for sailing
- Have sailed from California to Hawaii 3 times
- Besides sailing I do a lot of snowboarding, windsurfing and I play a lot of hockey

- 1st to finish, 2003 Coastal Cup (set a new record for fastest elapsed time (San Francisco to Catalina Island)
- 2nd place, 2004 Key West Race Week, Melges 24
- 2nd place, in a few etchell regatta’s in 2004 sailing season
- 3rd to finish, 2002 Pacific Cup (San Francisco to Kaneohe bay, Hawaii )
